Idlewire Pet Care provides day boarding, boarding, grooming and retail service to dog and cat owners in the Weber/North Davis county area. Having 40 years success in the industry, we’ve learned the pet care industry is volatile, many pet services are operated by folks who dislike people and are quick to declare, "I like dogs more than people!"  We love people who love their pets.  By providing consistent, reliable, and topnotch service we aim to serve our customers (two & four footed) for another 40 years.

Idlewire Pet Care was founded in 1967 by Verl and Saundra Hansen.

Currently Idlewire Pet Care is operated by Daniel Bosworth. Prior to taking the helm in 1994, Daniel Bosworth worked there for 5 years. Verl Hansen, original owner, is currently employed at Idlewire offering his skills and experience to further the success of the company. Other employees combine to offer over 90 years experience at Idlewire.

We are growing.  In February 2007 we purchased property in Pleasant View and hope to have a 2nd facility in operation by the end of 2008.
